. This was Pte. Arthur Gilbey, of the 7th Suffolk Regt., a native of Soham, Cambridgeshire. He was only 20 years of age and was one of the batch of wounded who arrived a few weeks ago. He was suffering from a wound in the thigh, which resulted in complications leading to his death. The body was taken by rail to his home for internment on Tuesday morning, a bearer party of convalescents from Oldway carried the coffin to the station. The party was under Corpl. Sheard. The funeral arrangements were made by Mr. R. Waycott.
